Welcome to Prindlgut - where nature and tradition meetThe Prindlgut is a fruit and wine farm that was founded around 15 years ago and is deeply rooted in the traditions of our region. Our name Prindlgut is a nod to the historical farm names of the current location and reflects our connection to our homeland.
or over a decade, inspired by Sepp Holzner's permaculture training, suitable orchards and gardens were designed according to the principles of permaculture. Various types of stone fruit, old apple varieties and some exotic fruits thrive in our mixed culture.
In 2020, we expanded our range and planted a vineyard with the fungus-resistant Souvignier Gris grape variety. Just three years later, in 2023, we were able to bottle our first wine, which immediately won an award at a local wine tasting. This success confirms our path and encourages us to continue focussing on quality and sustainability.
